Caribou Released, Kuskanax Gate is Open

The caribou were released from the maternity pen on July 16th early in the morning. They made their way into the alpine, and by 5pm were at the top of the Raven Creek range.

Now that the caribou are released, the Kuskanax Forest Service Road is open, and the gate will remain open to access the Cedar Grove Trail and the Kuskanax drainage.

Thank you to our funders, supporters and stakeholders for another successful caribou maternity pen season!

Thank you to the public for your cooperation in respecting the Kuskanax FSR controlled access zone.
