Maternity Pen Project Year One

Now that the caribou captured during year one of the Maternity Pen Project operations have been released from the Central Selkirk Caribou Maternity Pen, ALCS is evaluating the outcomes of the first project year and starting planning for year two operations. Next caribou capture is planned for Spring 2023.
